People tend to know me from my website development work or from gigging with bands (see my new music performance page).
Photography's always been a huge passion of mine and I've been shooting since my schooldays. There I battled with a clunky Russian Zenith SLR, black and white film, chemicals and cramped darkrooms.
Having given photography a back seat to concentrate on Internet projects, I picked up the camera again around 2004 after some gentle kicking.
I've been re-inspired by working in the studio and on location with several great photographers who value as close friends, Andy Lesauvage in London and James Creighton, Alec Arias and Greg Hadel in Los Angeles. I also musn't forget the patient and trusting subjects of my photos, without whom, there would be nothing.
These days, in the digital world, things have progessed a long way, but the goal remains the same ... capturing a great image.
